From November 21 to December 18 of the year 2022, a total of 32 countries will look for a new world champion at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Education City Stadium

The stadium in Doha’s Education City expects to be complete by the end of 2019. The soccer matches against the countries will be played here in 2022, including the WC 2022 quarterfinals. The excavation work covers 650,000 cubic meters. The implementation of the dewatering system will be prepared in the coming months.

By the end of 2016, the main contractor will be fully mobilised in and around the Education City Stadium, from where it is easy to work according to schedule. Workers are currently working on the foundation and steel structure.
